Dangerously Poor Care Nursing Homes


Close to 400 nursing homes in the U.S. had a “persistent record of poor care”. This finding was just released by the U.S. Senate based upon a list provided by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, or CMS.
These facilities have a serious ongoing health, safety and sanitary problems. As egregious and inexcusable is this is, the fact is that the Federal Government kept this fact hidden from the general public. These findings are set-forth in the report. What this translates to is an increased of harm that can lead to injury or death. Primarily this is due to a lack of proper care. Affected are those members of our society who are often the most vulnerable.
